Story Stars
Story Stars is a program that aims to support students in rural and underserved communities who are enrolled in special education classrooms. Volunteers from The Daddo Project partner with special education classrooms to read a book picked by the teacher. Students will then get to bring home a copy of the book that was read along with a special gift inpsired by the book.
Goal
The goal of Story Stars is to promote literacy and kindness and to inspire self-confidence and personal development through outreach to students in special education who are often overlooked by these types of support programs.
Book Selection
Books for the Story Stars program are selected by classroom teachers and purchased by the Daddo Project thorugh generous support of donations!
